Westward Boarding Pass
(c. 1992)
Official boarding pass for the NCL Westward, from about 1992. Cruise ship paper boarding passes are now memorabilia - a thing of the past. At one time, they were given to passengers at ports of call as their 'ticket' back onto the ship.
This is an unused Westward Boarding Pass very good to excellent condition. It measures approximately 5.5" high x 3.25" wide, and has the ship's name across the top, and Norwegian Crluse Line across the bottom. The center section has circles for marking sailing, Cabin number, Dinner Seating, and Table number. The back is blank.
The Royal Viking Star first sailed for the old Royal Viking Line in 1972, as becoming the NCL Westward in 1990. From 1993-1996, this ship was called the Star Oddesy, sailing again for the Royal Line, which became part of Cunard in 1994. Since 1996, she has been part of the Fred Olsen fleet, sailing as the Black Watch.
