From the elegant era of ocean liners comes this well-preserved dinning room menu that is now more than five decades old.  Dinner that evening began with a variety of Hors d'Oeuvres or Soups, and ending with Dessert choices and Fruit, Nuts and Coffee.
Interestingly, the Grill choice was Breaded Calfsbrains...

The beautiful artwork on the front cover, signed simply "WESTRA," features a Great Titmouse. 

The back is blank, except for two lines of very light colored text near the bottom, reading "GREAT TITMOUSE IN FEBRUARY" and "HOLLAND - AMERICA LINE"  (PHOTO 3)

This piece is in remarkably good condition, given its age (over 50 years!), although there is some slight wear on the fold, and some smudging and a couple of small age stains, mainly on the back cover. 

For those who appreciate cruiseline memorabilia, this lovely menu could be a nice addition to a collection.  Alternately, it would also make a nice little piece of artwork if properly framed.
