Wooden Prize Token
circa mid 1980 - 1990's
Used wooden prize tokens (or "wooden nickle") used aboard the ships of Regency Cruises, a line that operated between 1984 and 1995. The tokens were given out for various things, including trivia contests, and were redeemable for premiums or prizes near the end of the cruise. On one side is the crLogo of Regency Cruises, and on the other, simply the cruise line's name. Both sides are printed in blue.
Size: Approximately 1.5" across
Condition: Good
Regency Cruises began in 1984, and operated until late 1995, at which time the company shut down. Their first ship was the Regent Sea. The operated a number of other ships, includingthe Regent Sun.
